States. This visa IS an application for permanent residence.
3. Treaty Trader and Treaty Investor Visas, which are long-term business visas that, under
certain circumstances, may also lead to permanent residence.
4. H Visas, which are also long-term working visas for professionals and skilled individuals.
These visas can lead to permanent residence. Please note that H-2 visas are short-term working visas which do not
directly lead to permanent residence unless the individual is able to find another method of obtaining permanent
residence.

FAMILY IMMIGRATION includes, but is not limited to:
1. Relative petitions filed by close family members. Approval of these petitions permit the
applicants (beneficiaries of the petitions) to adjust status to that of permanent residence in the United States,
or apply for residence in their home country.
2. Fiancee petitions are filed by spouses or intended spouses for their fiancees and these
petitions also permit the applicants (beneficiaries of the petitiond) to adjust status to that of permanent
